Small Acts, Big Impact
Be Courageous, Be Compassionate, Have Abundance.
This is our theme for 2018. These are the values that we will practice and demonstrate as best as we can, to remind ourselves to be; because we are human beings, not human doings.
Our passion is in people and environment. Our purpose is to create the environment through developing courageous and compassionate leaders, who will in turn, create the environment, to develop more courageous and compassionate leaders. And we approach this through the “Butterfly Effect”.
Our purpose is important, as we believe that people will be the ones who will make a difference to our world, whether it is the environment, education, politics, technology, etc...
With courage, we will be able to step up and stand up, be responsible and accountable. We will also be able to step back, let go, and empower others to take the lead.
With compassion, we will be able to be kind, and learn to empathise. We will be more able to appreciate diversity, to be more understanding and caring.
With abundance, competition becomes healthy, as it comes from the space of learning and improvement, rather than from winning or losing, or success and failure. We will be more willing to share, and reach out to each other, reducing fear, increasing acceptance.
May we work together, to create a meaningful impact in 2018, through small acts of courage, compassion and abundance!
Who We Are
Chrysalists Pte Ltd is a facilitation consultancy, focused on clarifying values, nurturing leaders and supporting change. We believe that small acts can create big impact.
We support individuals and teams in a self-ful journey. And they, in turn, support others in their journey, by enabling and empowering, and the butterfly effect process (similar to the ripple effect) is created. This is encouraged through creating a safe space for all to thrive. We create that safe space, to challenge the status quo, asking the question of “How might we?”
We value the thoughts, ideas and opinions of others. We facilitate dialogues, conversations, that allow individuals and teams to gain greater understanding and insight to what is important to them and others. We are mindful that the process does not hurt others, and we appreciate the diversity in the discovery.
Our founder, Ms Michelle Ow, has been facilitating a variety of different programmes since 1999. Her specialisation is in developing leaders and nurturing facilitators, to continue to impact the community.
Our associates, Mr Mohammed Rohan and Mr Gerauld Wong, have between 10 to 20 years of training and facilitation experiences too.
You may read more about them here.
I attended the "Creating a Value-able 2018" experiential workshop whereby I was guided by Michelle during the walk at Mount Faber, Henderson Wave to Hort Park trail. Michelle is indeed a very passionate and sincere coach and facilitator and I learnt a lot about myself as well as crafted my goals for 2018 under her guidance. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to achieve success in your life!

Michelle has created a fruitful and enriching learning experience for SIT’s pioneer group of Career Peers. During the 2 days of training (24 & 26 April 2017), Michelle was able to engage the 9 students in an interactive yet thought-provoking manner. The students went through the Process Facilitation Skills Workshop and Mentoring Workshop with Michelle and gained hands-on facilitation skills while being challenged to consider issues related to the mentoring of others.
We have enjoyed working with you in the discussion of the programmes for the students and in the crafting of personalised workshops to cater to their learning needs. In particular, Michelle’s dedicated attitude and her willingness to go the extra mile to fine-tune each session based on the students’ responses and our feedback provided us with a very pleasant experience.

I would like to register my gratitude to Michelle, the Emergenetics Trainer whom we worked with in 2017. In my working encounter with Michelle, she is professional in her delivery of the Emergenetics Workshop. She knows her content knowledge well and is able to engage the staff involved. She is approachable and is always willing to go the extra mile to assist the school in the training requests.
Michelle is prompt in her actions and never fail to deliver what she has purposed to do for her clients. She is able to accede to the request of the client and makes professional judgement to provide advice to ensure the smooth running of the training. She is also very meticulous in the documentation and the follow up of the paper work required of the training.
As for the follow-up session with the key personnel and our Senior Teacher Council on the utilization of the collated data and in dealing with stress management based on the different personality profiles. The key personnel involved found the session useful in helping the team to find relevance and make sense of the data collated which is authentic and contexualized to the school setting.
I am really glad and privileged to be able to work closely with a committed and dedicated staff of yours like Michelle and truly appreciate the service she has rendered to our school during the Emergenetics Workshop.
