Our Story
In 2014, all I wanted to be, was to be happy. And Chrysalists was birthed then, during this period of personal turmoil and change.
2010 to 2013, I was so burnt out and fatigued, mentally and emotionally, that there was no light at the end of the tunnel for me. Call it leadership fatigue, responsibility fatigue, depression, etc. Whatever it was, I was just so worn out mentally and emotionally, I just wanted to throw in the towel, and raise the white flag; to surrender, and fade away, and just disappear from the face of the earth. And happiness seemed like the light that will save me.

And happiness seemed like the light that will save me.
2014 to 2019, while I was in this search of happiness, I went on a journey inwards; I went so deep, that the darkness in me surfaced, again and again. And during these times, I slowly learnt to be friends with the darkness, with the support of fellow coaches and guides. And by accepting the dark, I also discovered the light, beyond happiness : joy, compassion, hope, courage and a sense of self and being. Just like a caterpillar in chrysalis, waiting to emerge into a butterfly.
Through the experience of over 8 to 10 years, I learnt to sit with the polarity, with the tension of where I once was, and where I needed to be. And this journey and experience, brought me to where I am today : moving with my skills, knowledge and experience in facilitation, in to the space of coaching and organisational development.
I regained clarity of my meaning and purpose :

And these core values guided me, each and every step of the way. And they will continue to guide the work that we do, as we move into working the different levels of system : individuals, groups & teams, organisations and inter-organisations.
As the complexity increases, we also need to recognise each part of the process, and to delight and find joy in it. We acknowledge that things will not get any easier, however, it will be more and more fulfilling and satisfying, as we support ourselves, and the society/community at large, to be a healthier space to grow, thrive and flourish in.
We are excited be a part of a global movement for organisational and community wellbeing.

Can we create and hold space, for all to thrive and flourish, together?
Instead of building walls, can we develop boundaries?
To be in a space of joy?
Is this an area of discovery that you appreciate for yourself, your colleagues and your charges?
Now, I would like to journey with you, in the search for your meaning and purpose, if you give me permission to.
When you are ready to embark on this journey and adventure together, to allow for us, to be your cocoon in transformation, we are ready to support you, through the dark and through the light, through your chrysalis phase.
Yours wholeheartedly, in compassion, hope and courage,
